Be
sure to measure your body, do not measure over shirts or slacks.
Always
measure using the beginning/start of the measuring tape.
A.
Bust
If possible, have a friend help you to take your measurement. Relax your
arms at your side and measure the fullest part of your bust. Be sure to
keep the tape parallel to the floor.
B.
Waist
Measure around your waistline shown in the diagram at left. Keep one finger
between the measuring tape and your body for an accurate fit.
C.
Hips
Stand with your heels together, and measure around the fullest part of
your hips. This is approximately 9" below your waist. Be sure to keep
the tape parallel to the floor.
D.
Inseam
Take a pair of pants that fit you well and lay them flat. Measure the
distance along the inseam between the crotch and the leg hem.
E.
Arm Length
With arm bent 90 degrees, place hand on hip. Start at the center of your
shoulder joint and measure to the elbow, then down to the wrist.
